Relief Of Heartburn
Are there any adverse side effects to the consumption of toothpaste?
I realize this sounds really stupid, but see the thing is i ran out of my usual Heartburn relief so i have been consuming small amounts of toothpaste, (About a tea spoon seven+ times a day, For about too days now.) Believe it or not it dose work.
I know they say you shouldn’t eat the stuff.
So just wondering what if any potential dangers there are.

My only concern would be fluoride consumption. Most commercial toothpastes contain fluoride and that’s why they have the toxicity warnings on the labels. Fluoride is good for you in small doses (like the small amount in tap water, or from brushing with toothpaste), but too much (like eating it out of a toothpaste tube or eating a bunch of dental office fluoride) can cause fluorosis. Fluorosis causes white spots, or brown spots on your teeth, and could make you sick as well.
